Vivo X7 release date June 30, teaser reveals Snapdragon 652 chipset
Chinese smartphone manufacturers have been involved in stiff competition and this has resulted in several devices arriving in the market regularly. Vivo is determined not to be left behind in this race and has been teasing the arrival of another new device is the form of the Vivo X7, which is now set to be launched on June 30.
A new Gizmochina report confirms that the Vivo X7, as well as the Vivo X7 Plus, is set to be launched on June 30 in Beijing. In fact, teasers pertaining to the Vivo X7 have been arriving over the past few weeks, building anticipation around the device.
One such teaser which arrived previously from the company was mentioned in a separate Gizmochina report which stated that as per the text on it, the device will have a chipset with the number MSM8976. This particular number is associated with the Snapdragon 652 from Qualcomm which is coupled with an octa-core CPU.
As for the other details confirmed in the teaser, they include having a RAM of 4GB and internal storage of 64GB. However, it was the chipset turning out to be a Snapdragon 652 version that raised a few eyebrows as previous rumors have indicated that the smartphone would have a Mediatek Helio X25 version.
Additionally, the report also indicated that the Vivo X7 comes with the Wisdom Engine 2.0. This engine is capable of self-learning and it ensures that the CPU and the memory will share the resources onboard and therefore is expected to have better performance. Gizmochina states that the Wisdom Engine 2.0 has already been used on the Vivo XPlay 5 smartphone and so it is no surprise that is also being employed on the upcoming Vivo X7.
The display on the Vivo X7 is expected to be a 5.2-inch version with a Full HD resolution and the battery is assumed to be a 3,000 mAh version. As for fingerprint scanner, other teasers have indicated that it will be positioned in the front and included in the home button.
Coming to the camera, the front-facing one has already been shown as a 16-megapixel version in teasers and many analysts have stated that this is a clear indication that it will billed as a device for taking great photos.
