'Vikings' season 4B spoilers: Rollo and Ragnar to form an alliance; Lagertha to have a lover

(Facebook/Vikings)Rollo and Ragnar are said to form an alliance when "Vikings" returns for its season 4B.

While the release date of the second half of "Vikings" season 4 still remains unspecified at this point in time, there are already various hints on what avid fans of the series can expect when the historical fiction drama returns, and two of which is that Rollo (Clive Standen) and Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) will form an alliance, while Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) will have a female lover.

According to reports, after Rollo defeated in Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) in the penultimate season 4A finale, Ragnar will send his son out on a mission to reach out to his brother. With this, Bjorn will be asking his uncle for an exclusive passage to the Mediterranean Sea, to which Rollo complies.

To the uninitiated, Rollo abandoned his being a Viking in the early part of "Vikings" season 4 as he joined the Parisian community. Some fans believe that the reason why he did so was because of his jealousy toward his brother.

However, despite being Parisian now, he can't deny that the blood running through his veins is the same Viking blood that runs through the veins of his brother, Ragnar. In fact, in the teaser for the upcoming season 4B of "Vikings," Rollo is even heard telling his wife, "I can't deny that part of myself is still Viking."

Meanwhile, apart from the surprising alliance between the warring brothers, Ragnar and Rollo, another thing that excites the fans about the forthcoming "Vikings" season 4B is Lagertha's new lover as the trailer for the upcoming season 4B of the History Channel series shows her kissing another woman.

Nonetheless, featuring such an unconventional scene is not really the first for the series and for Lagertha as she even engaged in more intimate scenes in the past seasons.

What prompts Ragnar to form an alliance with his estranged brother? Who is Lagertha's new lover?

Find out when "Vikings" season 4B starts airing on History channel later this year.
