'Tom Clancy's The Division' updates: Game's update 1.6 and latest DLC to arrive together on Feb. 28
The highly awaited 1.6 update on "Tom Clancy's The Division" is finally happening next week, Feb. 28, along with the arrival of the latest DLC for the game, "Last Stand."
According to reports, the regular maintenance for the game will happen between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. CET. After which, the 1.6 update on "The Division" and its latest DLC, "Last Stand," will be released on all platforms at once on the said date.
Reportedly the update 1.6 to "The Division" is expected to optimize the performance of its server and improve its performance on the PS4, such as better game resolution and better upscaling.
As Ubisoft announced earlier, the 1.6 update to "The Division" will introduce some changes to the game, such as giving the hardcore players a real challenge when playing it. Hence, once the update has already arrived, players can expect the Legendary difficult mode in the game, which will be the most challenging game mode of "The Division."
Apart from being the most challenging mode of the game that will take place in Times Square, WarrenGate Power Plant, and Napalm Production Site, the Legendary difficult mode will also feature new and powerful enemies and will reward the players with unique vanity items that are not offered outside the said game mode.
Meanwhile, sources claim that "Last Stand" has been reported to feature a new Incursion called Stolen Signal, which will take the players inside a television broadcasting center, where the Joint Task Force (JTF) are being held captive by the Rikers.
In this DLC, players will be assuming the role of Strategic Homeland Division (SHD) agents to regain the control of the broadcasting system and save the JTF from their captors.
"Last Stand" is also said to be "The Division's" first-ever dedicated player versus player (PvP) activity and will use the Dark Zone map of the game.
