Ubisoft, the developer and publisher of the highly anticipated shooter game "Tom Clancy's The Division," has recently revealed their plans for both free and paid future expansions for the title, according to the latest video trailer that the company had posted on YouTube.

These planned expansions, which will be released all throughout the year, will contain two free updates and three paid expansions. The first one, a few update called "Incursions," is set to come out sometime this April.

"The Incursions update will add an endgame activity designed for squad play, challenging teams of four players to face nigh-unstoppable enemies for high-level loot," Ubisoft explained on their official blog post. "Also coming with the Incursions update is loot trading. Players in the same squad will be able to trade loot that's collected during their co-op game session."

The player trading system was not entirely surprising as the company had previously stated that this feature will get rolled out into "Tom Clancy's The Division" at a much later date.

The next free update, which will come out in May, will add a new Dark Zone feature as well as a new area to explore in New York City's Columbus Circle, the post continued to add.

Finally, the three paid expansions called Underground, Survival, and Last Stand, are all set to come out in June, summer, and winter of 2016, respectively. These three expansions will definitely add new challenges to the game as well as areas to conquer and explore, most specifically the Underground expansion where the game will take players into the tunnels and subways of New York City.

Meanwhile, in terms of how the narrative of "Tom Clancy's The Division" will go, previous reports have suggested that it will have a three part story, and each of these plots will revolve around a main subject. However, for the ones who really want to dive more to the narrative, Ubisoft has officially released a meta-novel for the game, which tells the story of what happened before the main storyline of "The Division."

"Tom Clancy's The Division" is now scheduled to be released on March 8 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC platforms.
