'Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege' DLC 'Operation Dust Line' releases May 11

The second DLC pack for "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" has now been given an official release date.

After months of speculation, players can now look forward to the contents of the "Operation Dust Line" DLC pack being added to the game on May 11, at least for season pass owners.

Players who opted not to buy the game's season pass can purchase the soon-to-be added operators a week later when they are made accessible to everyone starting May 18, according to the official "Rainbow Six Siege" Twitter account.

Speaking of those operators, developers already introduced players to those soon-to-be added Navy SEALs in an earlier announcement that was made back in April.

In a post on Ubiblog, developers introduced Valkyrie and Blackbeard, the new US operators who will be joining "Rainbow Six Siege."

For Valkyrie, players will be getting an operator that specializes in surveillance, whereas the other operator, Blackbeard, makes use of rifles and shields to dominate the battlefield.

Operators are not the only additions included in the "Operation Dust Line" DLC pack.

As players may have expected, there will also be a new map added to the game via the upcoming DLC pack.

Unlike the operators, the new map will be added to the game for free and all players will gain access to it starting May 11.

Developers have yet to provide specific details about the new map, though players may get a chance to see it during the live demo of the "Operation Dust Line" DLC that will be shown via the game's official Twitch channel this Saturday.

Along with the operators and the additional map, the upcoming DLC pack may also be set to introduce new items and other weapons to the game.

Following the release of "Operation Dust Line," "Rainbow Six Siege" players can look forward to two more DLC packs being released during the second half of the year.
