'The Originals' season 4 spoilers: Hayley and Elijah to protect each other
While reports claim that Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will settle their differences and do everything they can to protect Hope (Summer Fontana), the latter's case with Elijah (Daniel Gillies) may just be more than that as the latest reports say that she will be doing everything to protect the former in the upcoming season 4 of "The Originals."
In a recent interview with TV Line, "The Originals" executive producer Michael Narducci revealed that Hayley and Elijah's link will be one of the dramatized journeys in the incoming season of the vampire series.
"These are two people who clearly love each other, even though they have a very complicated situation. Elijah is a thousand-year-old vampire with a sense of honor and dignity, yet he's capable of doing unspeakable things. Hayley, despite being a hybrid, has only lived a mortal lifetime, and she has values and ethics that approximate those of a human being. When their family is put in jeopardy, these two people are going to do whatever they have to do to protect each other," Narducci explained.
Meanwhile, as it seems there is no more chance for Klaus and Hayley to revive their romance in the upcoming season 4 of "The Originals," some fans can't help but wonder if Klaus will really end up with Caroline from "The Vampire Diaries," the series' sister show. After all, prior to Morgan's departure from "The Vampire Diaries," his character's romance with that of King was undeniably heavily followed.
While it's true that Caroline is set to marry Stefan (Paul Wesley) in the last and final season of "The Vampire Diaries," it is alleged that the wedding of the two will not push through as Stefan switches off his humanity anew.
Will Hayley and Elijah have a romantic reunion in "The Originals" season 4? Will Klaus and Caroline finally end up together?
Find out when "The Originals" returns to The CW for its season 4 beginning March 17.
