(IMDB/The Lost City of Z)Robert Pattinson and Charlie Hunnam star as Henry Costin and Percy Fawcett in "The Lost City of Z."

The clip gives viewers a look into the real-life story of British explorer Col. Percival Fawcett. He braves the wild depths of the Amazon in hope of discovering "The Lost City of Z." Hunnam will be portraying the 19th century explorer Percy Fawcett in the film. He will be joined by "Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson, who will also portray a traveler by the name of Henry Costin.

Hunnam had a really busy year, and his schedule is expected to get even more hectic once he launches his films slated for release in 2017. The actor stars in "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" and "The Lost City of Z."

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Hunnam revealed that he only had five days between filming for both films. With such a busy schedule, he barely saw his loved ones. And he was dragged to locations wherein it was virtually impossible to contact people living overseas, even in this day and age. The actor revealed that he even had to resort to other means to get in touch with his girlfriend.

"We went to Colombia, and the mail system doesn't really work very well," Hunnam said. "It's completely unreliable. I received a letter from her, and I realized that from the tone of it and things she was saying that she hadn't received the two letters that I sent before."

The distance, however, allowed Hunnam to empathize with the character he portrays. According to the actor, the conflict between having to provide for the family and the need to be with the family is one of the factors they wanted to explore in the film.

"The Lost City of Z" debuts on April 14, 2017.
