In season 3 of "The Fosters," fans got to meet Robert Quinn (Kerr Smith), Callie's (Maia Mitchell) biological father who relinquished his rights over to Lena and Stef. There are talks, however, that he might be back in season 4 of the show.

Just recently, Smith took to Twitter and expressed his desire to appear on the show again. "What do you say we bring back Robert Quinn?!? I miss you guys!"

His tweet did not go unnoticed because series creator Bradley Bredeweg tweeted back that they also miss him, along with an invitation in the form of a question.

No official confirmation or announcement has been made yet but the exchange between the two holds a lot of possibilities for Smith.

Meanwhile, Mitchell gave some hints as to what is going to happen in season 4 during her interview on TV Line. She said that Jack's death will still carry a big impact in the lives of the characters.

Mitchell said that her character and Jude will be the most affected with the loss, saying that Callie will be filled with what she calls as "self-motivated rage" against the system. It will also make her more careful with what she is involved in and what she is endorsing that might have a big impact or cause damage to children like Jack.

Jude, on the other hand, will have some sort of a "spiritual journey" with lots of questions as to what happens after death.

Stef and Lena will be much more interested how Pearson was able to get another child. After discovering the truth, the mothers will be more concerned with Callie and will help her understand how critical her decisions are in the lives of other people.

By the looks of it, season 4 will focus more on resolving issues that have been left hanging in season 3.

Season 4 of "The Fosters" is set to premiere on Monday, June 20 on Freeform.
