'The Following' season 3 episode 6 spoilers: Joe and Ryan search for Arthur Strauss; debut for Michael Ealy
After fans got a double treat last week with a fascinating two-hour episode, this week, Ryan and his team will continue their search for Arthur Strauss.
"Reunion" will (finally) see the debut of Joe Carroll, who viewers sorely missed in season three. On the show's sixth episode, Design & Trend reports that Joe will provide some help to Ryan to find Arthur Strauss. Joe reminds Ryan that Strauss was his mentor and teacher and that tracking down the leader can cause him a lot of trouble. Finally a Ryan-Joe scene will be seen by audiences who have been looking forward to it since season three's premiere.
However, the promotional video suggests that Joe will provide one of his trademark cryptic clues that delays the search. Now that Carroll is on death row, episode 6 will see the debut of Michael Ealy's character, Theo, who will take Carroll's place. He is touted as the next super-villain of the show since Carroll's days are numbered. But can Ealy's character match Joe's?
Theo has earned a reputation for himself and is often referred to as "a ghost" by his peers. He has a cult following just like Joe. With his former foe's help, Ryan and Mike are hot on their heels of finding Strauss, but things take a turn for the worse when he threatens an innocent by-stander with a blowtorch.
An official synopsis of the episode by Hollywood Hills reveals that the clue they receive to get to Strauss lands them in a small town. Max also needs to make a confession but struggles to do so. What exactly is Max's big confession? Does it involve her promiscuous past? The next week's episode synopsis reveals that Max will be cleared to re-join the task force.
Watch an exciting episode of "The Following" on Monday, March 30 at 9 p.m. on FOX.
