The Elder Scrolls Renewal Project, the team behind the ambitious "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" mod, dubbed "Skywind," has recently published a new video on their YouTube account, which shows the development status of the remastered version of the popular 2002 title "Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind."

The full conversion mod "Skywind," as stated on the video which can be viewed below taken from TESRSkywind official YouTube channel, is currently being developed by several talented artists and fans of both "Morrowind" and "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim."

It showcases many amazing aspects for the "Skyrim" mod like the art concept from the layout of the map and interior design of the dungeons to the equipment that the players will use in the game. Furthermore, fans will get to see how the team has approached the 3D modeling aspect for the past years.

Aside from that, the clip has also demonstrated some of the environmental sound effects that the players will hear when traveling the land of "Skywind," from the SFX in the swamp area to the dark and secluded dungeons.

However, the most amazing part of all these is the fact that every asset used in "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Skywind" is original, meaning it was all created from scratch—not taken from "Morrowind."

Of course, since this is an unofficial mod, Bethesda has advised "The Elder Scrolls" Renewal Project team to release "Skywind" as a free to download expansion, and they will not accept any kind of tip for it, according to the report from Game Zone. With all that cleared out, Bethesda has given TESRSkywind the go signal to proceed with their project.

The mod has been in development for over four years now and the team, as stated on Polygon, ranges from a small number of people to a full workforce of volunteers. To know more about how to get in on the project, please head over to the TESR hub page for the details.
