With no official announcement of "The Elder Scrolls 6" upcoming from developer Bethesda, the Internet has been conjuring up a lot of rumors about it. Recently, however, most of these have been pointing toward the game being revealed during the upcoming E3 gaming conference.

The latest news about Bethesda's offerings that will be making their way to E3 came from the developer itself when it took to its Twitter account to state that it would have a showcase during the conference. Last year, Bethesda showcased a number of its major offerings during E3 and it appears that this year, too, the developer has something special in the works. As soon as the news about Bethesda coming to E3 was announced, many industry analysts were quick to point out that the developer only has a show when it has something major to announce.

Last year, Bethesda focused on "Fallout 4," and according to industry analysts, this year, the developer will follow up with "The Elder Scrolls 6." However, this is just based on rumors and Bethesda has not revealed that it indeed has "The Elder Scrolls 6" in the works. It is however increasingly likely that since "Fallout 4" has been released and work on its DLC almost finished, "The Elder Scrolls 6" is going to be next in line to follow up on the previous game in the franchise that sold around 20 million copies.

Meanwhile, GamingBolt has stated that Bethesda needs to balance the need for a good-looking game with impressive graphics. It even points to "Fallout 4" and states that the graphics in it are poor and this needs to be remedied when "The Elder Scrolls 6" releases. It also adds that creating another game with graphics similar to "Fallout 4" will not be a good thing to do when other offerings, such as "The Witcher 3," have already captured the high ground in RPG games.

Finally, there are indications that Bethesda might be looking to upgrade its gaming engine and this would benefit the upcoming "The Elder Scrolls 6" game.
