Tampa Bay Lightning vs Montreal Canadiens live stream: Watch online NHL Stanley Cup
Despite already facing elimination, the Montreal Canadiens have found a way to stay in the series, as they play the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 6 of their Eastern Conference semi-final in the NHL Stanley Cup.
The match is on May 12, 2015 at 7:30 PM ET and will be played at the Amalie Arena.
Tampa Bay began the series on such a dominating note that no one believed the Canadiens had any life left.
Taking the first two games away from home, the Lightning took a 3-0 series lead with a big 2-1 win in Game 3.
Things were looking very bleak for Montreal, but they never gave up and responded very well in Game 4.
In that game, they opened the scoring early, with Andrei Markov scoring just inside three minutes of the first period.
Then in just over the eighth minute, Max Pacioretty made it 2-0 for Montreal with a wrist shot. They would eventually take the lead after the first period.
Not content with their advantage, David Desharnais scored in the 26th minute to make it 3-0 and the Canadiens were starting to look like the old team they were in the regular season.
Two more goals in less than 20 seconds from Jeff Petry and Brendan Gallagher made it 5-0 before the Tampa Bay drought was ended by Nikita Kucherov's goal.
Tampa Bay scored again early in the third, but it was clearly Montreal's night as Brandon Prust scored another goal in the third to extend the series and give the Canadiens a 6-2 win.
When they played at home in Game 5, Montreal continued to show that they still had life in the series, as Devante Smith-Pelly opened the scoring in the 10th minute of the first period.
The Canadiens held on to the lead until it was leveled by Steven Stamkos in the third period.
With the game tied, P.A. Parenteau became a hero by scoring with less than five minutes remaining in the game to hand Montreal a 2-1 win.
Now that they seem to have got their confidence back, Montreal will be looking to take this game to a deciding Game 7.
