Fans of Nintendo's "Super Mario" franchise are eagerly awaiting the upcoming release of "Super Mario Maker" 3DS that is designed not just to be a game but a game maker at the same time. The release of the new title will be varied and Japan is ahead of the rest of the world as it will be available there by Dec. 1.

The game will be released in Europe and North America on Dec. 2 and in Australia on Dec. 3. Some reports state that "Super Mario Maker" appears to be quite similar to its predecessor available on Wii U. With this in mind, it is possible that players will recognize some variants of the game when they start playing "Super Mario Maker" next month.

Traditionally, players are at the mercy of game developers when playing a video game. Players must conquer a certain amount of difficulty along the way in order to unlock new levels. With the "Super Mario Maker" 3DS, players have the ability to choose which courses to play and skip pre-fabricated ones. The main attraction of the new game is that players are not limited to playing originally established courses and levels.

What is considered exciting is that players get to design their own courses and levels and they get to decide what gets included or excluded. The game includes tools that allow gamers to choose themes and enemies from other games in the franchise. According to Polygon, players can select enemies from "Super Mario Brothers," "Super Mario Brothers 3," "New Super Mario Brothers," and "Super Mario World."

Just like its predecessor, "Super Mario Maker" allows players to share their creations using local wireless connections. This will allow other players in the network to experience personalized games created by other gamers from different parts of the world.

Meanwhile, players based in North America may now pre-load the game before it is even released in December. The only requirement is that the user's Nintendo 3DS must have at least 365.125 MB free storage capacity.
