'Suits' season 6B rumors: Pearson Specter and Litt to merge with Robert Zane's law firm
Avid fans of "Suits" were treated to a shock when Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) bade farewell to Pearson Specter Litt firm at the first half of the procedural drama series season 6 finale. Now that Jessica is out of the firm, it is expected that Robert Zane's (Wendell Pierce) offer to merge Pearson Specter and Litt with his own law firm will finally be realized when the second half of the said season commences.
Many fans of "Suits" were shocked when Jessica decided to leave Pearson Specter Litt in the recently concluded season 6A of "Suits" as, after all, she was one of the pillars of the said law firm. According to reports, Torres herself begged off that her character be given a graceful exit from the show as she has been experiencing some personal life issues.
Now that Jessica is out of the law firm, it is now suspected that Robert Zane's own law firm and Pearson Specter Litt will finally merge. While it's true that Jessica declined the offer before her exit from the show, it has been learned that she was not at the liberty to make the decision.
"Robert Zane is going to have to decide, and we're going to wonder: Is he going to keep this offer on the table, or is he not? And whether he keeps it on the table or doesn't, how are Louis (Rick Hoffman) and Harvey (Gabriel Macht) going to respond to that? That is absolutely one of the focuses of (episode) 6.11," said executive producer Aaron Korsh when interviewed by TV Line last month.
Will Pearson Specter Litt merge with Robert Zane's own law firm? How will Harvey and Louis decide on the offer? How important is the merger in the second half of "Suits" season 6?
Find out when "Suits" season 6B begins airing via its episode 11 this winter over USA Network.
