'Star Wars: Episode 8' news, spoilers: Leak reveals Luke's line to Rey

(Facebook/starwarsmovies)"Star Wars: Episode 8" hits theaters on Dec. 15, 2017.

"Star Wars" fans have a lot to look forward to. Apart from "Rogue One" premiering this December, "Star Wars: Episode 8" is also in the works. And thanks to a leak, it has been revealed that Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker has more than just "hello" to say to Daisy Ridley's Rey.

It can be recalled that "The Force Awakens" ended with Rey encountering Luke on the planet Ahch-To. And while fans definitely enjoyed the cameo, Hamill didn't have a single line in the film.

However, it seems one of Luke's lines to Rey in "Star Wars: Episode 8" may have been leaked. According to the sources of YouTuber Mike Zeroh, Luke will apparently tell Rey something that makes her special.

"You contain the spark that will rekindle the fire," Luke supposedly says.

It should be noted that Zeroh himself is unsure of the validity of this claim, although he does note that he trusts two of his sources. As such, Zeroh advises everyone to take the news with a grain of salt, especially since nothing has been confirmed so far.

However, Zeroh continues to explain that the line may end up in the trailer for the upcoming film, which is currently being worked on. The trailer will reportedly land in early 2017, which is understandable since Lucasfilm would not want to take away the attention from "Rogue One."

Right now, it is unknown if a leak is even possible given the lengths the studio went through, in order to keep a tight lid on things. Hamill previously detailed his filming experience on the set of Episode 8.

"You get your pages in the morning, and they take them from you as you walk so they can shred them before it somehow leaks. You have security lines you have to walk through, both to and from set. And, not to mention, you have to wear these big monk hoods to protect your costume from drones," the actor said.

"Star Wars: Episode 8" is still a year away, with a release date set for Dec. 15, 2017. In the meantime, fans can get their "Star Wars" fill by watching "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," which premieres on Dec. 16, 2016.
