Another "Spider-man" reboot is scheduled to be released in 2017 and while there is excitement surrounding its unveiling, people are having mixed emotions about the upcoming film, especially since the once controversial choice for Spider-man, Andrew Garfield, would no longer play the web-slinging superhero.

It seems like Garfield, however, is more than happy to pass down his throne to 19-year-old actor, Tom Holland, famous for playing the titular role in "Billy Elliot the Musical." In an interview with ETC Canada during the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Annual Grants Banquet, he spoke only of praises for Holland. He said:

"It feels lovely, especially because Tom Holland is a really, really great actor. He was in this movie 'The Impossible' and he was just this incredibly powerful, sensitive, just wonderful young actor. And [he's] a dancer, so his body's the right [form]."

So what can fans expect from the 2017 "Spiderman" reboot?

According to recent reports, unlike the recent iterations of the franchise, fans do not have to see Uncle Ben get murdered for the nth time as it was confirmed that the film would not feature an origin story.

A recent interview with the film's writers, Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, has revealed that the third reboot for the franchise would be very different from the past adaptations as it would be more grounded on Peter Parker being an actual kid.

"It'll be a fun departure from the Peter Parker that you've seen where now, he is truly a kid. And I think the stakes are increased in that his struggle through high school is very real and isn't just a sort of side note. It matters now," said Daley

Goldstein added: "We want to explore the fact that just because you get super powers, [it] doesn't make you into a really sophisticated, successful adult. He's still a kid, and he's clumsy and he's a geek and he's a bit of an outcast and, in many ways, the super powers amplify that and exacerbate his trying to fit in.

"Spider-man" reboot is set to hit the big screens on 2017.
