'Space Station 76': First movie trailer is released [WATCH]
The first movie trailer of sci-fi comedy Space Station 76 starring Liv Tyler, Matt Bomer, Patrick Wilson, Matthew Morrison and Jerry O'Connel, has been released.
Space Station 76 is about a group of people who live on a space station who become filled with tension as new woman Assistant Captain Jessica Marlow, Tyler's character, enters the picture.
The trailer comes out offering potential intergalactic laughs and "future of the past" elements.
Along with the human cast there are also robots living on the space station. Aboard the cheesy 1970s future version of a space station is Captain Glenn, played by Wilson, the Omega Space Station 76 hard-drinking mustachioed captain who struggles with his bisexuality secret.
Wilson and Tyler were previously seen in "Insidious" and the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, respectively.
Jessica's presence prompts the crew to confront their secrets. Feelings of anger, jealousy and lust, which they can hardly contain, start to come out and becomes just all too dangerous.
Misty is a 36-year old housewife who lives on Omega Space Station 76 and enjoys spending time with valium-prescribing therapist Dr. Bot.
Her spouse Ted is frustrated, and wishes she will be in love with him again and focus on raising Sunshine, their daughter. Sunshine is only seven years old, but she is left on the ship by herself since her parents are busy.
Life on the space station is no different in the communities, except for having a captain like Glenn who resents his bisexuality, and hiding his rocky affair with Daniel (the former assistant captain), who left mysteriously. Jessica is the replacement of Daniel.
The people on Space Station 76 then face the danger of an asteroid heading towards them.
Space Station 76 will be distributed by Sony, but so far the film has no set release date.
