'SimCity BuildIt''London Town' released with iconic London structures and more land
"SimCity BuildIt" fans now have another city to construct and develop – London. The new update brings with it iconic structures like the Big Ben and the Globe Theater. Sadly, the London Bridge doesn't come with the package, but the red double decker buses do.
EA Mobile recently announced the arrival of its latest update, "London Town," and with it comes all the iconic structures, streetlights, signs and other items reminiscent of the historic city. Plus, players get more land to go with it.
The "London Town" content update works just like "Paris Town." Once players have mastered the art of trading in Paris, they can expand their trade routes to London by tapping on the airport construction site to prepare the runways. Once that's done, another tap will provide information on how and what to trade.
"SimCity BuildIt's" newest update also unlocks a new building zone, as well as new types of homes and buildings, like the Globe Theater. Adding a famous landmark like the Big Ben will boost the city's style. Players can also have London's special, red double-decker buses plying the streets after building the London Bus Terminal.
More importantly, the new London Town residential zones are able to support 15 percent more residents as London homes hold more people than the basic residential homes. Each London zone can have a maximum of 2,111 Sims and with a higher population comes higher tax revenues. Of course, it also means London Town zones need twice the amount of basic services.
EA is also giving fans what they want in this new update – more land. The newest update comes with 25 percent more land. That means more space to build new residential zones or business centers.
"SimCity BuildIt" can be downloaded for free on any iOS or Android devices via the Amazon Appstore, iTunes or Google Play.
