'Shadow of Mordor 2' release date during E3 2016 with advanced Nemesis system?

(Facebook/Shadow of Mordor)'Shadow of Mordor 2' could be unveiled during E3 2016.

While there is no indication that the "Shadow of Mordor 2" game is in production, there have been several rumors pertaining to it. The latest points toward an unnamed game being worked on by Monolith Productions that is associated with the first "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor" game, which released in 2014.

As soon as rumors about "Shadow of Mordor 2" started circulating last year, it was greeted with a lot of enthusiasm from gamers as the first game "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor" turned out be a massive hit when it released. The latest rumor has also been grabbing headlines when it pointed toward a motion capture artist and stunt person by the name of Lauren Mary Kim, indicating on her resume that she had worked on "Shadow of Mordor 2." Once this information was picked up from her resume, it was circulated widely on the Internet. Lauren Mary Kim also indicated that when she was working on "Shadow of Mordor 2," she was on the payroll of Blur Studio, and this piece of news also caused industry pundits to wake up and take notice of several other people mentioning an unnamed game on their resumes.

As soon as news of Kim's resume hit the Internet, she sent out a statement to WCCFTech in which she denied that she was involved in the game. She even went so far to state that the information was inaccurate and was mistakenly placed on her resume.

Currently, no concrete details about a sequel have emerged, but industry analysts have stated that it is unlikely that the gaming franchise will not be expanded as the first game was a huge success. Importantly, critics also loved "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor" and it even scooped up the "Game of the Year" award at GDC.

Meanwhile, according to reports, if "Shadow of Mordor 2" is in the works, it is likely that it will be revealed officially during E3 2016. Also, there have been indications since last year that a sequel for "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor" is being considered and it would focus on the Nemesis system in the game.
