Samsung fans are probably reeling at the news that a rare, electric blue Samsung Galaxy S5 will be launched onto the market with an August 17 release date, while members of Best Buy can get their hands on these exclusive devices as early as the 15th of August.

The electric blue Samsung Galaxy S5 will only be sold via Best Buy.

According to Best Buy, the Electric Blue Samsung Galaxy S5 will sell at a pricetag of $99 and comes with a two-year contract starting August 17th until the 23rd, but it may be purchased as early as the 15th of August through online outlets.

The smartphone is available for Sprint, Verizon and AT&T subscribers.

Aside from offering a lower price, Best Buy will also offer a $100 gift card to customers who will avail a monthly installment purchase plan such as AT&T's Next, Sprint Easy Pay or Verizon Edge.

In a statement, Best Buy announces that buyers can "snag the Electric Blue Galaxy S5 for $0 down and receive a $100 Best Buy gift card with their activation."

Although a Black and Electric Blue Samsung Galaxy S5 version has been sold before, this is the first instance wherein a major retailer will be selling the smartphone in an all-electric blue cover scheme.

The back cover and front face of the smartphone will come in the new and rare, sleek color.
