Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime release date: specs and features of recently launched smartphone
Samsung's roster of smartphones continues to grow, and the newest addition comes in the form of the Galaxy J7 Prime.
The new smartphone was launched just recently in Vietnam, and for those curious, Samsung has provided more details regarding its different specs and features.
Among the more notable features of the Galaxy J7 Prime are its two cameras. As noted over on the official Samsung Vietnam website, the device comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera and then pairs that up with an impressive selfie-shooter that provides up to 8-megapixels.
In terms of memory, the J7 Prime comes packed with 3GB of RAM together with 32GB of internal storage. It also provides microSD card support for those who want to have more storage space to play around with.
The smartphone also features a 5.5-inch display and it is also powered by a 3,300mAh battery.
It also runs the Android Marshmallow operating system out of the box.
Beyond those aforementioned specs, the Galaxy J7 Prime also has a few other features that may interest potential buyers.
Its new S-Bike feature allows for users to filter the calls that they receive, allowing them to concentrate on the task at hand. The S-Bike feature is designed to promote safety on the road and it can also act as a helpful tool for users who simply want an opportunity to focus on what they are doing currently.
The J7 Prime also features a fingerprint scanner that allows for heightened device security.
Currently, the J7 Prime has already been launched in Vietnam and it is expected to make its way to other markets in Asia soon.
There's no word yet about when this newly launched Samsung smartphone may make its way to other regions including North America.
