Robert Pattinson's star is bigger than ever. Even when his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight films has come and gone, fans are still latching on to every news about him, especially about his love life. His relationship with singer-songwriter FKA Twigs takes center stage these days as reports about his family's reaction to the relationship and his over-protectiveness surface online.

According to Yibada, quoting OK! Magazine, Robert Pattinson's family is very traditional and meeting FKA Twigs last year came as sort of a shock. As they were in love with Kristen Stewart, they also went about comparing the innovative fashionista with Pattinson's "Twilight" co-star and ex-girlfriend. But a year later, amidst some rumours that the Pattinson-Twigs relationship is on the rocks, the family seems to have changed their minds.

Says the online source, the 29-year old's family is now seeing how FKA Twigs is better for him than the 25-year old actress.

"She's very good for him and that wedding couldn't come sooner as far as the Pattinson clan are concerned," says a source of OK! Magazine, as quoted by Design & Trend.

While that has all been patched up, though, as mentioned, the couple is starting to ace speculations that their relationship is headed for a break-up. One reason for this may be the actor's overprotectiveness.

Pattinson apparently pushed for the engagement, adding it will bid trust between them. The actor, however, turned out to be too controlling for the free-spirited singer and the latter is starting to get cold feet.

Still, according to Design & Trend, FKA Twigs finds Pattinson as old-fashioned and fears that the marriage can transform her. Quite ironic as the actor once admitted he was attracted to Twigs' edgy attitude.

The splitsville is unconfirmed at the moment, with FKA Twigs even debunking such rumours in a recent interview with Hollywood Life.

She told the online publication, "I'm quite happy to say, 'Go to school, work hard on your GCSEs, do your A-Levels, get married, have children. Send your kids to a nice school. Make sure you're in the right catchment area."
