'Pokemon Sun and Moon': The new Pokemon game will feature two different regions
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" has become one of the most anticipated games this year, along with "Pokemon Z." Although the development of "Pokemon Z" seems unclear, there is hope for the former. Set for release in 2016, there are speculations that say the game will feature two different regions as well as offer extended game play.
The idea of having two regions in a "Pokemon" game is not really a new idea since the concept has already been used in "Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver." Thus, if they apply the same concept, one of the regions that may be seen in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will be Kalos.
Game observers note that if "Pokemon Sun and Moon" allows players to travel between regions, it is possible that "Pokemon Z" might also have the same features, allowing players to link with Xerneas and Yveltal.
Aside from having two regions, YouTuber dookieshed predicts that "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will also have some of the monsters that are rumored to be featured in "Pokemon Z." The said monsters are Magearna, Zygarde, and Volcanion.
Fans are also hoping to see if Nintendo will revive the Pokewalker in the new Pokemon game. For Pokemon fans, the device was available for those who had the "Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver" game for the DS.
The Pokewalker added more fun to the game because it enables the player to choose a Pokemon they can take care of even when they are not playing the game. While doing so, they can increase the power and ability of their monsters.
Those who grew up in the 90s can remember a similar game called Tamagochi, where owners take care of a virtual pet. The device might bring some nostalgic memories while enjoying the fact that players can show off their Pokemon or let them fight with each other.
