'Pokémon GO' tips and cheats update, news: Catch chance tool helps save limited resources

Catching a monster in "Pokémon GO" becomes hard for some new players who aren't used to the cheats and tricks which can be difficult to master. However, a new Catch chance tool has been created to help players save the resources they have, especially if these items are limited.

The chances of catching rare Pokémon are even smaller as Niantic seems to be coming up with plans to keep the augmented reality game challenging so fans won't get bored while playing it. With the use of Pokémon Go Hub's new calculator, which is based on the Grand Unified Catch Theory or GUCT, players can determine their chances of catching any Pokémon that they are planning to capture.

While the GUCT is basically made up of complicated formulas that will determine the monster's species, its throw bonus, and the type of Poke Ball that was used to capture it, the outlet created the calculator to make things a whole lot easier for players.

BGR notes that a player will first need to fill out a form with the following information: the Pokémon, trainer level, and any medal bonuses relevant to the Pokémon chosen. Before clicking on the Calculate button, the player should also choose whether a curveball or a Razzberry was used for the catch.

The calculator will then produce the player's chances of capturing the desired Pokémon, depending on whether or not there is a catch bonus that will be added for the said pocket monster.

It is worth noting that this calculator is not exactly a cheat or a trick that players of "Pokémon GO" can use similar to the way they utilize other cheats and tricks but it is a good method to save limited resources. This is especially true if an Ultra Ball is on the line.

Since Ultra Balls aren't easy to collect, it would be a waste to use them on just about any Pokémon that pops up along the way. With the use of the new calculator, which is very much user-friendly, players can be more specific with the usage of their Poke Balls and Ultra Balls.

"Pokémon GO" is playable in Android and iOS devices.
