Paul Walker death: Roger Rodas' wife sues Porshe for car defects leading to fatal crash

In the latest news regarding Fast and Furious actor Paul Walker 's fatal car carsh, Kristine Rodas, the wife of late driver Roger Rodas, filed a suit in LA County Superior Court against Porsche.

Rodas' husband drove a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT when it crashed in November 2013, which killed him and his passenger Paul Walker. Rodas' suit said the Porsche her husband drove did not have safety measures in the gas tank, which when otherwise, would have saved the lives of both men.

According to Kristine Rodas' suit, there was a failure in the suspension system of the Porsche car, which made it go out of control. The Carrera GT was unsafe because of its manufacturing defects, testing, design, constituents and components. It has not safely served its purpose, the lawsuit states. Kristin Rodas' suit seeks damages from Porsche Cars North America.

Paul Walker and Roger Rodas were attending a charity event in Santa Clarita, California, to help typhoon victims in the Philippines, when the accident happened on November 30, 2013. Walker had not concluded filming "Fast and Furious 7" at the time of his death.

After Walker's death, Universal studio halted filming and delayed the film's release, which was supposed to release in summer. The new release date is April 10, 2015 in the U.S.

Paul Walker was best known in the "Fast and Furious" film franchise, with its first film coming out in 2001. The series focuses on tough guys, exotic locales, and fast cars.
