Although some viewers of "Orange Is the New Black" think Lolly (Lori Petty) will not be back in the Netflix drama-comedy series, Petty herself believes that her character in the series will be back for another season and continue to tell her story.

There are those who believe that once a character in "Orange Is the New Black" is removed from the correctional facility, more often than not, it's already a curtain call for the character. However, despite this observation, Petty believes in her heart of hearts that Lolly is not done telling her story, and she will be back despite she was already brought to a psychiatric hospital in the previous season.

"I can't say for sure, but I absolutely think we will. They are just now filming episode one (of season five) and you know how we ended season four. They have a lot to deal with right now! I'm just waiting on the phone call to get back on the plane. I'm sure it will come, but we have 13 episodes and they've got a lot to take care of, so we'll see," Petty told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview last month.

Petty also said in the same interview that she had already seen the set for the upcoming season. Hence, based on what she had witnessed, it was but normal for her to come up with an assumption on how the upcoming season would pan out as far as her character is concerned. For Petty, it is likely for "Orange Is the New Black" season 5 to follow the life of Lolly in the psychiatric hospital.

"I just assumed they'd go to psych, like they go to the SHU. But I'm just making stuff up right now because I don't know. But I saw the set and that's what I thought," Petty said.

Meanwhile, as the previous season of "Orange Is the New Black" concluded just a few months ago, it goes without saying that its avid fans and viewers will have to wait until next year before it makes a comeback for its season 5. Pop Sugar is almost certain, though, that the popular dramedy series will be back in June 2017.

Should that be the case, only then viewers can find out if Lolly is still, indeed, part of the series.
