Although Saitama/One Punch defeated even his most formidable opponent in "One Punch Man" season 1, Lord Boros, and proved how strong and powerful he is, it is said that things will not be the same for him in the upcoming season 2 of the show. According to the latest reports, the bald superhero will weaken in "One Punch Man" season 2 as Amai Mask will discover his vulnerability. 

"One Punch Man" season 2 was announced in the latter part of September last year. As of this writing, though, it remains uncertain as to when exactly the highly anticipated anime series will return. Despite the uncertainty on when "One Punch Man" season 2 will arrive, though, there is no denying that there are already a lot of rumors attached to it.

According to the latest reports, "One Punch Man" season 2 will feature a weaker Saitama, which means he will encounter, at least, one defeat in his battles. Allegedly, Amai Mask will discover the source of Saitama's powers and use it against him.

Earlier rumors claimed that Saitama has weakened after his battle with Lord Boros in the series' first season. Rumors say that Garou will challenge him in a battle while at a weakened state. Rumors say that it is during his weakened phase when Garou will challenge him in a battle. Will Saitama experience his first defeat at the hands of Garou? Fans can only speculate for now.

Unconfirmed reports also say that the Monster Association will gang up on Saitama. As the said group of monsters is composed of villains with god and demon-like powers, it is suspected that Saitama will be needing the help of other members of the Hero Association to defeat them, much more that it is said that it is during his battle with the Monster Association when the regenerated Lord Boros will return to avenge his defeat to the bald superhero.
