Gideon (Giles Matthey) will make a startling discovery when "Once Upon a Time" season 6 returns after its winter hiatus.

According to the synopsis for the episode titled "Tougher Than The Rest" that was released by ABC, Gideon will make an unexpected confession in front of his parents Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and Gold (Robert Carlyle) about what transpired in his life during the time when he was nowhere to be found.

On the other hand, David (Josh Dallas) and Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) must do everything to reach Gideon first before he manages to confront Emma (Jennifer Morrison), while Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) remains asleep in Storybrooke.

The synopsis also reveals that Regina (Lana Parrilla) will realize that most of her friends from Storybrooke, even Robin (Sean Maguire), will have better lives in the alternate world where the Evil Queen could not harm them.

Meanwhile, Emma will reportedly encounter a familiar character within the alternate world. According to Hollywood Life, the said character could be Pinocchio (Eion Bailey). The report also mentions that the familiar character will help Emma and Regina escape the wish realm so they can finally go home to the real Storybrooke.

The Savior s also expected to learn about a power that has the capacity to change her fate in the future. Could this mean that Emma can finally see her parents again in the upcoming episode?

In other news, Gold's mother, the Black Fairy (Jamie Murray), will reportedly reappear in a couple of episodes of "Once Upon a Time" season 6.

According to Spoilers Guide, the Black Fairy was first teased by several behind-the-scene photos for a still-untitled episode. This means that Gold must be conscious of his actions since his mother is in towm.

ABC will start airing the season 6B episodes of "Once Upon a Time"  on March 5, Sunday.
