The MyLeague and MyGM modes that will be featured in "NBA 2K17" will be significantly different than their counterparts featured in earlier games, with the newer iterations apparently set to become even more comprehensive than ever before.

Back in July, developer Visual Concepts already touched on the new league expansion features and how that may change the way players experience the new game, but there's reportedly even more to look forward to.

First off, while that earlier post that can be seen via the game's official Facebook page revealed that players will be able to expand the league up to 36 teams, it's now been revealed that contracting expansion teams which have been previously expanded will be an option too.

A new article from Operation Sports shared even more details related to the MyGM and MyLeague modes, revealing for instance that dynamic rule changes will now be elements of the aforementioned game offerings.

Rule changes can apparently be decided upon during meetings that take place over the course of different offseasons, and while most of them are just for minor game tweaks, some may change basketball games quite drastically.

Collective bargaining agreements, better known as CBAs, can also expire after a few seasons and depending upon the parameters of the new agreements, they can also significantly change how business is done in the MyLeague and MyGM modes.

Trades will also become even more detailed in "NBA 2K17," with players and CPU-controlled teams now set to be given opportunities to exchange specifically protected draft picks. Pick swaps will also be allowed as well.

To further reflect the gradual progression of the NBA in both the MyGM and MyLeague modes, players who contributed greatly to particular franchises may eventually have their jerseys retired. Even the current team uniforms may also change over time.

Fans will be able to see how these new MyGM and MyLeague features can impact the experience of playing "NBA 2K17" when the game is released for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and the Xbox One on Sept. 20.
