'NBA 2K16' news: Summer League feature on the way; soundtrack will include music from different years
EA Sports is on a roll right now; tantalizing fans with news of what they have to look forward to with "NBA 2K16."
The game developer recently teased the enhancements they made to the game, specifically with the changes they instituted to make the game look and feel more realistic. This included using more motion capture and developing new technology that improved the player's dribbling and passing abilities.
With the graphics and gameplay out of the way, EA Sports now wants fans to know more about "NBA 2K16's" perks and gameplay.
According to the game's official Twitter account, gamers now have more choices. They will be able to choose from, as well as play, rookies, second-year players and even undrafted players via the "NBA Summer League" feature.
While the information is admittedly scanty, the League feature could be tied to the "My Career Mode" for "NBA 2K." Players who are looking for a different kind of challenge would find this feature interesting as it would be up to the gamer to improve his player and boost his skills to the point that he might get the chance to be drafted into the professional league.
However, it might take some time before the player levels up. But gamers are bound to discover some tricks of the trade so that their players will improve faster.
EA Sports also teased gamers with the soundtrack of "NBA 2K16" and it appears to be a doozy. By all accounts, it seems that there are about 50 songs that have been compiled by DJ Khaled, DJ Mustard and DJ Premier.
No particular music genre has been mentioned but reports say that the music choices cover different years. The report appears to be accurate if the confirmed songs are to be the basis. "Blitzkrieg Bop" by The Ramones, "I Want You to Know "by Zedd (feat. Selena Gomez) and "Represent" by Nas have been confirmed to be part of the "NBA 2K16" playlist.
"NBA 2K16" is good to go for a September 29 release.
