'Mortal Kombat X' 'Kombat Pack 3' release date hinted at by Ed Boon: what to expect
"Kombat Pack 3" remains unconfirmed for "Mortal Kombat X," though that hasn't kept "Mortal Kombat" co-creator Ed Boon from teasing fans once again.
Boon hinted at the highly coveted DLC pack yet again in a recent post on Twitter. This time around, Boon's newest teaser comes in the form of a familiar yet slightly revised meme.
Fans have responded to the post by again pleading with Boon to officially confirm the new DLC pack, though it's still unclear if there is even a plan to make any more additional content available.
Boon has been teasing the "Kombat Pack 3" DLC pack for the currently available fighting game for a while now, and confirmation has not been provided just yet.
Dating all the way back to May, Boon teased the elusive DLC pack in a Twitter poll asking fans what they wanted to see next. Notably, "Kombat Pack 3" was the most popular choice, though nothing came of it back then.
Boon mentioned "Kombat Pack 3" yet again in another Twitter poll, even though this one was posing a question about the Xbox One S. Once again, the choice of "Kombat Pack 3" emerged as the poll winner.
It's unclear if Boon's latest Twitter tease will lead to anything this time around, though it certainly seems as though players are still interested in getting the rumored DLC pack for "Mortal Kombat X."
Despite the long wait, fans have expressed a desire to still see the new "Kombat Pack" announced, though some have also shown their frustration.
As of now, only Boon knows for sure if additional content will still be released for the latest installment of the "Mortal Kombat" franchise, and fans who still want to see more fighters added may have to stay on standby for a while longer.
More news about "Mortal Kombat X" as well as whether or not it's getting "Kombat Pack 3" should be made available in the future.
