'Mortal Kombat X': Jason Voorhees trailer released ahead of debut of 'Friday the 13th's masked murderer on May 5
Warner Bros. Interactive has just released a new gameplay trailer for "Friday the 13th"s masked murderer Jason Voorhees, who will be joining "Mortal Kombat X"'s roster from Tuesday, May 5.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment's "Mortal Kombat X" is the tenth installment in the critically-acclaimed "Mortal Kombat" fighting game franchise from NetherRealm Studios. "Mortal Kombat X" was launched on April 14 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC, while a mobile version of the game is also being developed. In "Mortal Kombat X", the 2011 "Mortal Kombat" reboot leaves, and the classic as well as new characters fight alongside the next-generation children of the older fighters. Combining cinematic presentation with all new gameplay, "Mortal Kombat X" delivers the most brutal Kombat experience ever by providing players with the ability to choose from multiple variations of each character, influencing both strategy and fighting style.
Warner Bros. Interactive is now celebrating "Mortal Kombat"'s upcoming DLC by releasing a new trailer, showing Friday the 13th's masked murderer, Jason Voorhees in action. In the new trailer video, Jason unleashes blood-splattering violence using his trusty machete to hack, jab and slash opponents. Jason also brings a dead teenager along with him to all his fights, apparently for good luck, all of which only reinforces the game's 'Mature' rating.
Jason Voorhees will be available in "Mortal Kombat X" through the Jason Voorhees Bundle, which launches on Tuesday, May 5, for players owning the $30 "Mortal Kombat X" Pack. Other gamers can buy the bundle a week later on May 12 by paying $8. Apart from the addition of a new playable character in the form of Jason Voorhees, the Jason Voorhees Bundle will also come with the Horror Pack, which introduces three horror-themed skins to "Mortal Kombat X", namely Vampiress Mileena, Kraken Reptile and Pharaoh Ermac. The Jason Voorhees bundle will also be sold separately from May 12 for $5, while the Horror Pack will sell for $4.
