'Modern Family' season 7 spoilers: Mitch, Cam help the boys for their big night in episode 20
Luke (Nolan Gould) and Manny (Rico Rodriguez) will be all dolled up for their upcoming prom, but they still do not have dates. In the upcoming episode of "Modern Family," the boys will be asking their uncles Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) to help them out, but something will go wrong along the way.
In "Promposal," Spoilers Guide reports that the teens' big night is coming and the entire family is excited. There is one little problem, though. They still do not have dates. Luke and Manny have yet to ask the girls they like if they want to go with them to the prom. They are understandably scared, as it is their first soiree ever. Luke will reportedly ask Mitch for some assistance, while Manny will go for Cam. Unfortunately for the boys, their uncles will not be of much help, as Cam goes overboard with his advice.
Clearly, something is going on between the partners that they do not want the family to learn about. Does it have something to do with their daughter Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons)? Whatever their problem may be, it is not helping the boys. Cam and Mitch need to buckle up if they want their nephews' magical night to be an event that they will treasure forever. Prom is one high school event that Luke and Manny must not miss.
Elsewhere, Claire (Julie Bowen) has a suspicion that someone in her closet business has been leaking information to a rival company. Meanwhile, Gloria (Sofia Vergara) will ask Phil (Ty Burrell) to accompany her and confront aunt Alice (June Squibb) for stealing her secret recipe for hot sauce. While there, Phil will not be able to keep his cool, chastising the other woman for what she has done. His father-in-law Jay (Ed O'Neil) is not able to go with Gloria since he is too busy teaching Joe (Jeremy Maguire) "some manly handy work."
"Modern Family" season 7 episode 20 airs on Wednesday, May 4 at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
