Mike & Molly season 5 episode 7 spoilers: Samuel considers move back to Africa
Mike & Molly may be struggling to shed pounds but they have certainly tickled the funny bone of many people across U.S. Mike Biggs, the good natured cop who just wants to be healthy and Molly, a fourth-grade teacher, instantly feel a connection when the two are participants of the Overeaters Anonymous meeting. Melissa McCarthy, who plays Molly, and Billy Gardell, who portrays the character of Mike, are highly likable characters.
The previous episode, number six, dealt with a flirtatious Mike hiding a kiss from Molly when a woman surprisingly reciprocates his advances. The seventh episode, airing on Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, will see the plight of Senegalese waiter Samuel. The synopsis of this episode, as stated by CBS, reads "When Samuel receives a letter from his parents saying they're struggling financially; he contemplates moving back to Africa."
Fans will remember him as the waiter that regularly serves Carl and Mike at a restaurant they frequent. The cops strike a friendship with Samuel, despite his inability to grasp the concept of dieting. Whether Samuel leaves the show or finds a solution to support his African parents remains to be seen.
Photos leaked by the network depict Samuel serving up the pair of cops, and later sitting with a confused expression on Mike and Molly's living room sofa as they discuss something. Will Mike and Molly come to his rescue? Molly is also seen in a photo wearing an apron and visiting Samuel at his diner.
The Atlanta Blackstar reports that Mike finds it hard to control his temptation at the diner, constantly battling between his desires for eating tasty food and his need to lose weight. The latest episode will also feature Officer Carl McMillan played by Reno Wilson, Swoosie Kurtz as Joyce Flynn, Katy Mixon as Victoria Flynn, along with Samuel enacted by Nyambi Nyambi.
The episode "Support Your Local Samuel" will air on CBS.
