MacBook Pro 2016 release date, specs rumors: Could the new MacBook Pro be out March 21?
Apple will be holding another event this March 21 with new goodies expected to be the star of the occasion.
The event is expected to unveil the much awaited iPhone SE and maybe even the iPad Air 3. The new Apple Watch bands could also be around as well, rounding up an array of portable devices and wearables that could be at the center of it all.
How about the MacBook Pro 2016? Could Apple be inserting the latest notebook offering at the said event too?
With only two screen size models available right now, it could be high time to see fresher models. The latest update on the MacBook Pro line was made in May of last year. Given that it has been some months since people last saw an update to that list, could the March 21 event include the new models as well?
All that is still up in the air. But for now, all Apple nuts have to go by are the speculated improvements that the next Apple notebook will bring.
Among the features it is believed to be coming with include a Skylake processor which is the latest chip from Intel. With the new chip, potential MacBook owners can see a dramatic improvement in terms of battery life as well as faster processing.
Aside from that, there are rumors that the next MacBook will also come with a touchscreen and/or a detachable front similar to Microsoft's famed Surface Books.
The overall aesthetics of the MacBook Pro 2016 are likely to be the same, although some new features not yet mentioned could be coming as well.
Though the MacBook Pro's appearance has not been confirmed, Apple loyalists can follow the event this coming March 21 via live stream to find out. The event can be seen, courtesy of the Apple website with festivities starting at 1 p.m. ET.
