The Legend of Korra returns on Nickelodeon on June 27 at 7pm ET, for its third season.

This is going to be arguably the best day for Legend of Korra fans as three episodes will be unveiled during the premiere night.

From the looks of it, The Legend of Korra 3: A Breath of Fresh Air will live up to its title when the trailed showed Avatar realizing the cosnequences of leaving the portal to the spiritual world.

Before you even think that wild spirit vines growing across four nations are seriously tied with these upshots and could be a reason for an action-packed struggle, the truth is – it's a botany problem after all.

There are loads of changes that are expected to hit the television screens once The Legend of Korra 3 opens next week, one of which is the appearance of Zuko, the first firebending master.

In this video, creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino talk about the changes and twists to expect in the Book 3 of this American animated television series.

The second installment of Legend of Korra gave the audience high production values and amazingly tackled sociopolitical issues and weakened influence of spirituality in the age of modern living, and became one of the most successful animated series of this generation.

The Legend of Korra has changed the landscape of television and programming.

The series set in a fictional universe garnered massive attention from not only the kids, which is the normal target of Nickelodeon programs, but also from adults aged 18 to 49.

Instead of riding on the sweet and charming appeal of its predecessor "Last Airbender", the Legend of Korra takes on a more mature approach, thus giving birth to a whole new genre of television – animated drama.
