(www.facebook.com/left4dead2)'Left 4 Dead 3' is rumored to release sometime in 2017.

"Left 4 Dead 3" is rumored to be happening and the game might release sometime in 2017.

Rumors about the first-person shooter video game being in development are making the rounds. Its developer Valve hasn't confirmed anything yet but there seem to be hints that suggest the sequel is indeed happening. The last "Left 4 Dead" game was released back in 2009.

One of the hints that "Left 4 Dead 3" is under development is the news about Valve moving into a new office next year. Fans started to speculate that this big move could signal that a team of developers will soon be focusing on a sequel with a launch date of 2017. Reports added that Valve will need a bigger office space to accomplish the work needed for their future projects.

Meanwhile, there's also the teaser involving a tutorial file that showed there was a folder dedicated to the game. Valve artist Tristan Reidford uploaded a series of photos for the said tutorial, and there, the folder was spotted. The image with the "Left 4 Dead 3" reference has since been removed but a copy of it was shared at ValveTime. This teaser got people talking that Valve could be secretly working on the horror-survival video game.

There are also those who think that the artist may have been just playing around, while others speculate that Valve intentionally did it to tease fans of an imminent game release. Regardless, it should be noted that nothing is final until Valve gives out the official word.

It was also reported that there will be four new characters and six game campaigns to play.  For now, details about "Left 4 Dead 3" surfacing online are based on pure speculation. Fans can only hope that Valve would clear the air soon and give out updates on whether or not the game will hit the shelves.
