'Just Cause 3' DLC news: Expansions to be released between January and July 2016; patch 1.02 set to roll out this week
The first of the three upcoming expansions for "Just Cause 3," dubbed as "Sky Fortress," is currently being tested by game developer Avalanche Studios, and it appears like the "Sky" pack is now almost complete. Unfortunately, the update from the developer did not indicate the possible release date of the said content. The company did, however, tease last year on their blog post that these DLCs, the "Sky, Land, and Water" pack, will be released sometime between the months of January and July 2016.
The "Just Cause 3 – Sky Fortress" DLC, according to the official Steam post made by the developer earlier this month, is said to bring new "missions, features and other exciting surprises to the skies of Medici." Sadly, though, the update did not contain any specific details regarding the contents of the add-on.
Meanwhile, Avalanche Studios has finally released the changes that they will implement in the upcoming patch 1.02, which is expected to roll out this week.
According to the latest blog post from the studio, the new patch will have a size of 132.2 MB that will contain many new changes into the game as well as fixes and optimization.
First up, once it becomes available for download, fans can expect a significant improvement in the loading time and a fix for the challenges where the vehicles disappear whenever the player starts it.
Furthermore, for PC users, Avalanche Studios has fixed the screen resizing issue and "closing the game window before the game has fully started up."
"Just Cause 3" patch 1.02 will first hit Sony's PlayStation 4, in Europe, then will be followed by a release in other regions as well as in the other platform, specifically on the Xbox One, the next couple of days. As for the PC, however, the update is said to start its roll out this Friday.
