Apple just unveiled the new iOS 10 at its recently concluded Worldwide Developer's Conference, and despite the new operating system not being released to the public yet, it has already been jailbroken.

The last time there was a widespread jailbreak tool for iOS was in October 2015 intended for iOS 9.0-9.0.2 and was released by Pangu. People who had their iOS devices jailbroken that time are still stuck with that old iOS and unable to upgrade to the latest 9.3.2. But now, it appears that they might be able to do so with the upcoming iOS 10 as iH8snow, known to be a member of the jailbreaking community, has shown in a video that the new OS update can be tweaked.

The video (shown below) posted on YouTube shows the user manipulating an iOS 10 iPhone and running Cydia. However, iH8snow didn't share the method with the public but only showed that even iOS 10 can be hacked. According to reports, it is unlikely that iH8snow will release the guide on how to jailbreak the new OS update, which would be even be more frustrating for iOS users.

Still, there might be hope that a widespread jailbreak tool will be available soon coming from the most popular hacking teams Pangu and TaiG. What iH8snow's video proved is that the still-in-beta-phase OS can be hacked despite how it's said that Apple has made it difficult to breach their system.

Jailbreak fans can only hope that the hacking teams can find the solution and share it with the public soon. It might still take a while but it's possible that an iOS 10 jailbreak could be expected to be released on select devices, as noted by MobiPicker. The publication also highlighted that iH8snow used an iPhone 5 – a 32-bit device – for the demonstration. It remains to be seen if the exploits will also work on 64-bit or the more recent iOS devices.
