'Hunter X Hunter' release date, rumors: Yoshihiro Togashi leaves manga?

(Facebook/OfficialVIZMedia)"Hunter X Hunter" does not have a return date yet.

Until now, "Hunter X Hunter" fans are still in the dark about the future of the manga. Because of the break, rumors have now started circulating that creator Yoshihiro Togashi may have left the manga altogether.

Cancellation rumors abound, mostly due to the lack of updates given by the creator. However, since these rumors have not been confirmed, fans can still cling on to the hope that this may really just be a minor break.

It can be recalled that "Hunter X Hunter" only returned earlier this year, following a hiatus that lasted for almost two years. The first break was due to Togashi's health problems, and it was revealed that this time is no different. Considering it took 20 months for the creator to return to work, many believe it may take the same amount of time for Togashi to recover and continue the manga.

However, there is also a rumor going around that Togashi may have actually exited the manga. He has apparently begun work on other projects, which has prevented him from returning to "Hunter X Hunter." Meanwhile, others believe that Togashi has already finished work on several chapters of the manga and may just be holding off on publishing them for some reason.

Apart from that, another popular rumor is that Togashi may be replaced by Sui Ishida, who is known for being the creator of "Tokyo Ghoul," another famous manga. Ishida's work has apparently been praised by Togashi himself. And since Ishida has lent his creative skills to "Hunter X Hunter" before, it would not be surprising if he does it again. However, Ishida may not have time to take over "Hunter X Hunter" since "Tokyo Ghoul" is also currently in publication.

Since nothing has been confirmed so far, it would be best for fans to take this news with a grain of salt for now.
