Huawei Y6 Pro specs: new mid-range smartphone features 5-inch display, 2 GB of RAM and 4,000 mAh battery

Huawei has officially introduced the Y6 Pro, the high-end variant of the Y6 smartphone and the global version of the Enjoy 5 smartphone. While the Y6 Pro is a mid-range device, it looks premium with modern and sleek design.

The Huawei Y6 Pro features a 5-inch HD display with a 1280 x 720 screen resolution and 292 ppi pixel density. The smartphone looks modern and premium with its metal frame case and water ripple design. Huawei has also given the Y6 Pro Content Adaptive Backlight Control which delivers appropriate brightness to users and also helps conserve battery life. In terms of dimensions, it is 143.1 mm tall, 71.8 mm wide and 9.7 mm thick. It also weighs 160 grams.

The Y6 Pro is available in three colors – gold, white and grey.

The smartphone is powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6735P processor and 2 GB of RAM. There is also 16 GB of internal storage.

The Y6 Pro is equipped with a 13 MP rear camera with a f/2.0 aperture and autofocus. On the other side, there is a 5 MP front-facing camera with an 84-degree wide angle lens for selfies and video calls. The Y6 Pro's cameras are able to deliver clear and bright images.

The mid-range smartphone comes with dual-SIM capability and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. It is preloaded with the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Huawei's Emotion UI 3.1 Lite on top. The smartphone also comes with the G-sensor, P-sensor and the L-sensor.

One of the Y6 Pro's most impressive features would have to be its massive 4,000 mAh battery. The battery pack is estimated to provide up to 39 hours of talk time and over 90 hours of light use time. With the Smart Power Saving Mode, the smartphone can last up to 24 hours even with just 10 percent of the battery remaining.
