HTC T1H tablet release date, specs rumors and updates: HTC's mystery tablet spotted in live image
HTC has only just launched the all-new One M9, but there have been rumors that the company will also launch the M9 Plus, the E9 and the E9 Plus. Now a report in the Chinese media suggests that HTC will also release a tablet, dubbed the T1H, in partnership with China Mobile.

The HTC T1H is rumored to feature a 8.9-inch screen with QXGA (2048 x 1530) resolution and will be powered by an Allwinner (Gazetteer) H8 octa-core chipset with 4 cores at 2.2 GHz 4 cores at 1.4 GHz and a PowerVR SGX544 GPU. HTC's upcoming tablet will also include 2 GB of RAM, internal storage of 16 GB or 32 GB, an 8 MP rear camera, and a 16 MP front camera. The HTC T1H will also feature HTC BoomSound dual front speakers, GPS, and a 6,700 mAh battery. The HTC T1H is rumored to be 288.35 mm tall, 153.67 mm wide and 7.88 mm thin. The tablet will run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, with HTC's Sense 7.0 for Tablet UI. According to the report, the HTC T1H will be offered in WiFi-only as well as WiFi LTE variants and will be launched in the Chinese market in May this year.
Another new leak has confirmed these rumored specifications, accompanied by a detailed specs sheet and an alleged live photo of the HTC T1H. If the rumors are indeed true, then HTC could be planning to return to the tablet market with the HTC T1H after the HTC Flyer failed miserably in 2011.
There is no information about when HTC will launch the HTC T1H, but the company has sent out invites for its product event dubbed "More than One" to be held in Beijing, China in April, where it could unveil the new tablet.
