Dress it with a customized theme

With the HTC One M9, users can take a photo or use a preexisting image as inspiration and create a theme based off of it. This feature can be turned on by navigating to Themes and clicking on the plus sign. A user can select the Choose Home image and use the camera to take a photo or pick a preexisting photo from the gallery. After choosing an image, simply finish the process by customizing the Create theme style screen.

Activate gestures

Users can also enable the automatic answering of calls. Simply navigate to Settings, choose Call and select Auto answer calls. With this feature enabled, the phone just needs to be picked up and the call will be automatically answered once the user places the device next to his ear.

Quick launch camera with volume rocker

There are moments that need to be captured quickly and the One M9 made sure to consider this when they provided the option of using the volume rocker to launch the camera. To turn this feature on, users just need to go to Settings, choose Display and gestures, tap on Motion Launch and select Volume button to launch camera. To use the volume button as a shutter, simply go to General Settings, open the Volume button options and select Capture.

Mute calls by flipping the phone

With the HTC One M9, users can set up the device so that when it is placed on its screen, any incoming call is muted. To enable this, head over to Settings, choose Sound & Notification and select Flip to mute one call or all calls when the phone is turned.
