'How to Get Away with Murder' season 2: Annalise and Frank figure out Rebecca's killer; 'roller coaster' season 2 coming
Fans of "How to Get Away with Murder" will have their most important question answered when the series returns for a second season.
It has already been established that the premiere episode of "How to Get Away with Murder" season two will reveal who Rebecca's killer is.
According to the official synopsis for the episode, titled "It's Time to Move On," Annalise (Viola Davis) and Frank (Charlier Weber) are the only ones who know that Rebecca (Katie Findlay) has been murdered, prompting the two to come together and solve the crime.
They apparently will be able to solve it too, as a promo clip for the episode shows Davis calling the killer a monster. But whether that monster is Asher Millstone (Matt McGorry), Bonny Winterbottom (Liza Weil) or Rebecca's boyfriend, Wes (Alfred Enoch), still remains to be seen.
Even though Rebecca's murder is solved, showrunner, Pete Nowalk, says it will still lead to a "roller coaster" ride for the professor and her students. But even though next season will apparently be an intense one for the characters, there will still be new cases to solve every week. One of those cases might be that of two clients who are accused of killing their parents.
The intense atmosphere, and their mutual experience trying to solve Rebecca's murder, will allegedly push Frank and Annalise closer together; maybe even to the point where they start developing romantic feelings for each other, something that Davis is not averse to.
Viewers will also see several new faces in season two of "How to Get Away with Murder." Kendrick Sampson of "Graceland" and "The X-Men's" Famke Janssen are reportedly onboard. Their appearance will certainly stir the pot and hopefully add more spice to the interactions of the show's core group.
The students have been described as slowly becoming friends in the upcoming season. However, Nowalk teases that "there will be fallout" now that Michaela knows that Laurel stole her engagement ring.
"How to Get Away with Murder" will return for another season on Sept. 24.
