"Haikyuu" season 2 has just concluded last Sunday, but this early, avid fans of the volleyball-themed anime series are already looking forward to its third season run, which is set to premiere this fall. Spoilers claim that the coming season will feature Shouyou Hinata and Tobio Kageyama playing under the same team.

According to reports, the upcoming season 3 of "Haikyuu" will be titled "Haikyuu!! Karasuno Koukou VS Sharatorizawa Gakuen KouKou," as well as based on the teaser video uploaded on YouTube. The upcoming season 3 of the anime series will follow its predecessors' story concept.

In "Haikyu!! Karasuno Koukou VS Sharatorizawa Gakuen KouKou," a high school student named Shouyou Hinata joins a volleyball team at the Karasuno High, which he has always dreamed of. Additionally, his decision to join the volleyball team is also rooted on his desire to beat the King of the Volleyball Court, Tobio Kageyama. In a twist of fate, though, Shouyou Hinata finds out that Tobio Kayegama has joined the team that he is part of.

Shouyo Hinata cannot digest the idea that he will play side by side with the person he wishes to defeat. With this, Koshi Sugawa, Karasuno's official setter, reminds him of what the primary reason for his joining the volleyball team is — to excel like his idol. Koshi Sugawa also tells that Shouyou Hinata should no longer consider Tobio Kayegama as a formidable opponent but a dependable ally.

On the other hand, it is also expected that "Haikyuu!! Karasuno Koukou VS Sharatorizawa Gakuen KouKou" will feature the lives of the characters outside the volleyball court, and just like other sports-related anime, it is mandatory for the players to do well in their academics in order for them to continue playing, especially the junior students.

The first season of "Haikyuu" premiered in April 2014, and its season 2 was released in October last year. The anime series was also compiled into two anime films that were released last year.

Meanwhile, the Manga version of the series will be published by Viz Media in North America beginning next month.
