'Game of Thrones' season 7 spoilers: Michiel Huisman unsure about his character Daario's fate
Actor Michiel Huisman's Daario Naharis is one of those minor characters in the series who fans have grown to love. When asked about if Daario will be seen in "Game of Thrones" season 7, Huisman expressed uncertainty.
Daario is strongly affiliated with Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and the last time he was featured in the series was when she left for Westeros and abandoned him. When asked by Radio Times if viewers have seen the last of him, the actor replied, "Well, we don't know! I can't say anything about that."
The series has two more seasons to go and, as the story comes to a close, it is expected that the coming episodes will concentrate on tying loose ends and revealing plot twists involving main characters. As such, Daenerys may have more plots that do not involve her lover and Huisman himself has said, "she left him behind."
Furthermore, the actor is already working on another project and accepting other commitments could mean he would be around for at least the first part of the coming season or the whole season altogether. Yet, the actor remains grateful for being part of the show. He said, "'Game of Thrones' is an incredible show to be a part of, to be part of such a big cast." He also added, "It's also great working on something like 'Harley and the Davidsons,' where you get to follow a character's story closely over fewer episodes."
Meanwhile, production preparations for season 7 have already started and Winterfell will happen in Basque Country, Spain where cast and crew have started to arrive earlier this month. Local crew memeber are also being hired and notices have already been made to the towns of Bermeo, Zumaia, Trujillo, and Malpartida.
"Game of Thrones" season 7 does not have a premiere date yet, but it is expected to be announced soon.
