While there is still no confirmed news on when the planned "Frozen 2" will be released, this doesn't stop the fans from talking what the sequel to the global blockbuster Disney animated movie might be. According to the latest rumor, there is a possibility that Prince Hans will actually be Queen Elsa's love interest, after all, in the "Frozen" sequel.

CrossMap reports that despite turning out to be a villain in the second half of "Frozen," the upcoming sequel will bring back Prince Hans not as the movie's villain but as Elsa's love. It can be recalled that in the first "Frozen" movie, the prince and Elsa's sister, Anna, were featured in what many believed as a whirlwind romance. However, it turned out that there was no love on Prince Hans' part, as it was revealed that he was only after the throne of Arandelle.

If the rumor that Prince Hans will indeed be Elsa's love interest in "Frozen 2," CrossMap opines that Disney should do a lot of hard work in telling the sequel's story in order to convince the fans that he is a good guy after all. CrossMap even posed a question asking what assurance the fans will have on Prince Han's conversion to being a good guy as the first movie already showed him to be traitorous. 

Earlier, it was reported that "Frozen 2" might just be Disney's breakthrough "princess movie" as it was rumored that Elsa might turn out as a lesbian. In fact, fans engaged in a "Twitter" war as they expressed their opinion on the said rumor. Twitter was flooded with hashtags "Give Elsa a Girlfriend" and "Charming Prince for Elsa."

While fans are not settled on who the love interest of Elsa should be in the upcoming "Frozen 2" movie, the same thing cannot be said about her snowman creation, Olaf. With the news that the "Frozen" character is having his own love life to be featured in "Frozen 2," fans can't help but be ecstatic.

It still remains unclear if Olaf will be paired with a fellow snow creature or a human. However, earlier rumors suggest that Olaf may actually be a human originally who was just cursed and will be reverted back to his original form in the sequel and be Elsa's love interest.
