Far Cry 4 Update 2 rolls out for Xbox One, Xbox 360 versions
Ubisoft has just announced details of the Far Cry 4 Update 2 released for the game's Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions.
"Xbox One and Xbox 360 users can now download the second Patch," according to Ubisoft.
Far Cry 4 Update 2 includes a multitude of fixes for random crashes on various game modes, host migration, case issues, custom match instability, join-in-progress edge case, progression page, functionality impediments in the shop menu, localization, low repro walkthrough breaks, Map Browser, minor and low repro QTE and some missing audio in radio calls.
The Far Cry 4 Live Update team also guaranteed that they are still working on other issues reported.
"We are still working at improving your gaming experience and will keep you updated of upcoming patches in the near future," the team writes.
As for updates for Sony's PS4 and PS3 consoles, Ubisoft explained:
"Title Update 2 is to address issues with Xbox 360 and Xbox One only. The Playstation 3/Playstation 4 and PC platform will have different version numbers accordingly."
Live patches for PS4 and PS3 were deployed last Nov. 24. Update 1.02 was made available for PS players to experience "smoother" gaming.
Just like other big titles that have recently launched, Far Cry 4 did not escape the scrutiny of the gaming community due to a number of issues encountered early on. The better news is that these problems were not as massive compared to the still outstanding bugs that plague Assassin's Creed or Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
The first-person shooter video game developed by Crytek was released on Nov. 18. 2014.
