'Fallout 4: Nuka World' DLC release date set for August
The rumors were indeed true and it's now official that game developer Bethesda Softworks will be releasing the latest downloadable content (DLC) for "Fallout 4" named "Nuka World." The new DLC, together with two other new expansions namely "Contraptions Workshop" and Vault-Tec," will be the latest segment to "Fallout 4."
"Contraptions Workshop" and "Vault-Tec" will be out this June and July, respectively. The former will let fans make use of the items that they could find and devise new items and weapons out of it, which will be useful for them during gameplay. The latter, on the other hand, will have players build a huge underground vault and entice more people to live in it and build a community within the game.
Meanwhile, the "Nuka World" segment will be out in the market in August and Bethesda said that it will be the final and at the same time the most thrilling expansion for "Fallout 4."
There was even a caption at the Steam store describing what players can expect from the "Nuka World" expansion. It says in the description that "Nuka World" was once an amusement park and is now being run by hordes of raiders. It encourages would-be players to explore the vastness of the park including its featured attractions like the Safari Adventure, Dry Rock Gulch, Galactic Zone, and the Kiddie Kingdom. It also suggests players be a leader of their own gang of raiders, utilize them in raiding neighboring communities, and the likes.
Fans of the "Fallout" franchise also scavenged through some game files and found about a whack-a-mole machine in the game. What's unknown though is whether the said machine will be playable or not in the game.
Furthermore, during the Sony Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event, Bethesda vice president Pete Hines mentioned about the addition of a faction in the "Nuka World" segment. Hines, however, did not explain further the details for the upcoming faction.
Meanwhile, the "Contraptions Workshop" and "Vault-Tec" will both be priced at $5, while the "Nuka World" will be a bit steeper at $20.
As mentioned earlier, "Contraptions Workshop," "Vault-Tec," and "Nuka World" DLCs will be available this June, July, and August, respectively.
