'Fallout 4' DLC: 'Far Harbor' patch addressing framerate issues on PS4 to arrive soon
"Fallout 4" players who have been experiencing some technical issues stemming from the "Far Harbor" DLC may soon have those problems resolved.
Apparently, the new issues related to the recently released expansion have mostly affected PS4 players.
According to a recent report from Eurogamer, the problems become visible once players make their way to the woodlands region of the newly added landmass. The fog enveloping this particular part of the region apparently impairs the game, leading framerates to drop sharply and "Fallout 4" players being unable to fully enjoy the experience.
The good news is that Bethesda is already aware of the problem and the developer is in the process of providing a fix for the new issues.
In a recent post on Twitter, the developer revealed that they have already submitted their update to Sony, and hopefully, it will finally put an end to the performance issues that some PS4 owners are currently experiencing.
Bethesda has also indicated that they will let players know of the new "Far Harbor" patch being released as soon as it goes live.
In related news, PS4 players can also look forward to receiving mod support very soon.
Specifically, Bethesda has indicated that mod support for "Fallout 4's" PS4 port is "still on track for next month."
Xbox One players are set to receive the new mod support prior to the end of the month, while PC players got access to the new feature back in April.
In addition to the mod support, players on all ports of the open world game can also look forward to receiving more new content throughout the year in the form of soon-to-be released add-ons.
Bethesda has yet to provide additional details regarding these upcoming DLC packs, though players may be able find out more about them soon enough.
More news about "Fallout 4" should be made available in the near future.
